Selecting more than one thread stops being a secret, and the window notices
the syncs it did not start.

Ctrl+A selects every thread in the result list, and a right-click menu on
the thread list finally puts archive, delete, spam, flag and the tag dialog
within reach of the mouse. Multi-thread selection always worked with
Ctrl+click and Shift+click; nothing in the interface admitted it. A count in
the status bar now acknowledges a selection as it is built.

Selecting several threads no longer opens them one by one, nor marks them
read on the way past. Selecting is not reading.

A cron sync used to come and go unnoticed. The status bar reports a
background sync while it runs and when it finishes, read from the lock the
sync script already holds.
