2 daysttf-nerd-fonts: add version 3.5.1Danilo M.1-0/+6
All 71 patched Nerd Fonts families, excluding NerdFontsSymbolsOnly (already on SBo as ttf-nerd-fonts-symbols). FAMILIES and VARIANTS trim the build; a single-family build is named after its family. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>
9 dayspython3-pathvalidate: drop, piper-tts was its only consumerDanilo M.1-4/+0
Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>
9 dayspiper-tts: drop in favor of python3-kokoro-onnxDanilo M.1-6/+0
Kokoro-82M replaced piper as the TTS engine: piper's voices were rejected by ear, Kokoro was clearly better in both Italian and English. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>
9 dayspython3-kokoro-onnx: add version 0.6.1Danilo M.1-0/+4
Kokoro-82M text to speech through onnxruntime. The espeakng-loader dependency is dropped: its bundled libespeak-ng has a hardcoded CI data path and fails at runtime. The tokenizer defaults to the system espeak-ng library and data instead, and the build fails if a future release still references espeakng-loader after the edit. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>
9 dayspython3-phonemizer: add version 3.4.0Danilo M.1-0/+4
Text to phones converter used by kokoro-onnx, with the espeak-ng backend found through the system libespeak-ng. Built from the PyPI sdist. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>
9 dayspython3-dlinfo: add version 2.0.0Danilo M.1-0/+4
Dependency of python3-phonemizer, which uses it to locate the espeak-ng shared library. Built from the PyPI sdist. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>
9 dayswhisper.cpp: add version 1.9.4Danilo M.1-0/+6
Worked ahead of SBo, which is still at 1.6.2. Upstream moved to ggml-org/whisper.cpp; HOMEPAGE and DOWNLOAD follow it. OpenVINO is required and always enabled. openvino installs under /usr/share/openvino, off the default linker path, so cmake is pointed at its config dir and its library dir goes into the install rpath, which lets the binaries run without sourcing setupvars.sh. OpenBLAS stays autodetected. Built with static libs and shipped as binaries only: the bundled ggml would otherwise install libggml*.so and ggml headers that clash with llama.cpp-vulkan, the same approach as stable-diffusion.cpp-vulkan. Test-built on -current with openvino as a local dep, lint clean. That needs OpenCL-CLHPP 2026.05.29, which the buildsystem gets from a slackrepo hint; SBo still ships 2024.05.08. Adds the nvchecker stanza and README row. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>
9 daysclaude-code-bin: drop in favor of SBo claude-codeDanilo M.1-6/+0
SBo ships development/claude-code, so the binary repack here is no longer needed. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>
9 daysopencode-bin: restore, dropped by mistakeDanilo M.1-0/+6
42fe2e7 removed opencode-bin in favor of an SBo counterpart that does not exist; the package meant to go was claude-code-bin. Restored as it was at 1.18.31. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>
9 daysMove maintainer tooling out of the repoDanilo M.2-150/+0
Git hooks, the upstream sweep and the SBo delivery workflow are the maintainer's operational tools, not package knowledge. They now live in a private workspace that wraps all three SlackBuild repos, with one shared copy of each hook instead of three drifting ones. Also in this pass: - AGENTS.md: checksum loop documented as sbodl (sbofixinfo does not fix checksums), nvchecker must not run without a token config, prefer use_latest_release over use_max_tag - README: Git Hooks section replaced by a short Contributing note - sweep report renamed to LAST_SWEEP.md across all three repos Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>
9 dayspython3-typer, python3-annotated-doc: drop, no consumers leftDanilo M.1-8/+0
python3-huggingface_hub 2.0.0 was the only package requiring typer, and typer the only one requiring annotated-doc. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>

11 daysstable-diffusion.cpp-vulkan: add version 899Danilo M.1-0/+7
Vulkan build of leejet/stable-diffusion.cpp (sd-cli, sd-server). Bundles upstream's patched ggml fork and builds the server web UI offline from pinned npm tarballs listed in the .info. x86_64 only. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>
12 daysopenvino: add version 2026.2.1Danilo M.1-0/+5
Ported from the orphaned SBo script. The eight bundled dependencies are pinned to the exact commits openvino references at this tag and dropped in as archive tarballs, with the submodule placeholder symlinked to whatever directory each one unpacks to, so a dep bump is a new SHA, URL and md5 in the vars and .info with no edits to the body. pugixml, snappy and tbb come from the system; flatbuffers is bundled because the SBo package ships broken cmake files, and xbyak because its cmake config exports a bare -isystem /usr/include that breaks GCC 15's include_next. TBBBIND_2_5 is off, so the optional hwloc dependency is not needed. Configure runs under unshare -n where permitted, since openvino's cmake otherwise fetches prebuilt dependencies over the network. The guard is skipped where unshare is not permitted, such as a container without CAP_SYS_ADMIN. Requires OpenCL-CLHPP 2026.05.29 or newer: the 2024.05.08 opencl.hpp references D3D11 and D3D12 external memory handle constants that the current opencl-headers no longer define, which breaks the intel_gpu OpenCL runtime. 12 daysslang-bin: add version 2026.18Danilo M.1-0/+6
Binary repack of upstream's official Linux x86_64 release tarball. Building slang from source pulls in LLVM plus several bundled dependencies, so the prebuilt tarball is packaged instead. The tree is installed under /opt/slang-bin-$VERSION with the command line tools symlinked into /usr/bin. The binaries resolve their libraries through a RUNPATH of $ORIGIN/../lib, which follows through the symlink, so no wrapper is needed. kitty 0.49.0 and later require slangc at build time to compile their shaders, which is the reason this package exists. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5 <noreply@anthropic.com>
12 dayskitty: add version 0.49.0Danilo M.1-0/+6
Take over maintenance of a local copy of the SBo kitty package, built from the official upstream release tarballs on GitHub instead of the SBo maintainer's self-hosted mirror. Changes against the SBo script: - VERSION 0.38.1 -> 0.49.0 - DOWNLOAD points at github.com/kovidgoyal/kitty releases - MAINTAINER/EMAIL set to danix - drop librsync from REQUIRES: upstream 0.49 no longer links it, the rsync kitten uses its own implementation on top of libxxhash, which ships in Slackware - drop google-go-lang from REQUIRES: go is a base system package on -current The build itself is unchanged; setup.py still accepts linux-package, --libdir-name and --ignore-compiler-warnings, and the tarball still ships prebuilt man pages and html docs. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5 <noreply@anthropic.com>
13 dayspcsx2: add version 2.8.2Danilo M.1-0/+5
Port the 2.4.0 script from Slackware 15.0 to -current. 15.0 shipped none of the libraries pcsx2 needs, so the old script vendored sixteen sources and patched upstream's dependency builder with hardcoded sed line ranges to skip the Qt build. -current already provides SDL3, Qt6, libpng, libjpeg-turbo, libwebp, lz4, zstd, ffmpeg and the Vulkan headers at or above the versions upstream pins, and kddockwidgets 2.4.1 comes from SBo, so both the vendoring and the line-range surgery mostly go away. Five dependencies have no packaged counterpart and are still built here, now directly with upstream's own flags rather than through the patched builder: libbacktrace, plutovg, plutosvg, rapidyaml and shaderc (with its three pinned third-party trees). They are built static into a private prefix that only the build sees, so nothing lands in the package and the old /usr/lib64/pcsx2 libdir and its LD_LIBRARY_PATH desktop wrapper are both gone. Verified: the package ships one binary and no shared objects, no NEEDED entry references the vendored five, and every remaining NEEDED resolves in a clean -current container with only kddockwidgets added. pcsx2 2.8.2 still reads AVCodec::pix_fmts and sample_fmts, removed in ffmpeg 8, so building against -current's ffmpeg 9 fails in GSCapture.cpp. Disable find_package(FFMPEG) to select the bundled headers upstream ships for this case; ffmpeg is dlopen'd at runtime, so capture still uses the system library. Also drop the llvm-opt dependency now that -current's llvm provides clang, restrict ARCH to x86_64 with an explicit error, and remove qt-6.10.patch, which patched the no longer vendored KDDockWidgets 2.2.3. 2026-09-11quickshell: add version 0.3.1Danilo M.1-0/+7
Add the quickshell package, a QtQuick toolkit for building status bars, widgets and other desktop components. Bumped from the initially added 0.2.1 to 0.3.1. Upstream renamed the cmake option CRASH_REPORTER to CRASH_HANDLER in 0.3.x, so the old flag would have been silently ignored and pulled in the crash handler along with its cpptrace dependency. Other fixes over the initial script: - DOWNLOAD was UNSUPPORTED with the real URL in DOWNLOAD_x86_64, which wrongly marked every non-x86_64 arch as unbuildable. The source is arch independent, so it belongs in DOWNLOAD. - REQUIRES said "qt6 cli11". qt6 is not an SBo package, and the cli11 entry did not match the SBo package name, which is CLI11. - The gitea archive is served under its Content-Disposition name (quickshell-v0.3.1.tar.gz) rather than the URL basename, so accept either filename when extracting. - DISTRIBUTOR claimed SlackBuilds.org. Upstream asks that this string identify the specific package source, and it is compiled into the binary, so name this repo instead. - Align TAG and PKGTYPE with the rest of the repo (_SBo, tgz), fix the slack-desc handy ruler to 72 characters, add the missing README and drop the leftover template comments. Builds clean on -current with a clean sbopkglint. Slackware 15.0 ships Qt5 only, so the build fails there on a missing Qt6; the package is -current only and the README notes this. 2026-08-08typora-bin: add version 1.14.9Danilo M.1-0/+9
Binary repack of upstream's official Linux x86_64 tarball; Typora is closed source, so this is not a build from source. Uses the versioned tarball on downloads.typora.io rather than the version-agnostic Typora-linux-x64.tar.gz, which serves whatever build is current and would go md5-stale on every upstream release. Launch through a wrapper instead of a symlink to the binary: it enables Electron's Ozone Wayland backend when a Wayland session is detected and leaves the X11 default alone otherwise, so one package works in both. Override with TYPORA_OZONE=wayland|x11. Upstream's bundled updater is dropped; it would overwrite the tree in /opt behind pkgtool's back. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5 <noreply@anthropic.com>
2026-08-08docs: revise Plymouth notes for SimpleDRM and the 26.x packageDanilo M.1-7/+80
The research doc concluded that getting xe into the initrd was the gate for the whole splash effort. That holds for SBo 22.02.122, which has no SimpleDRM support at all, but upstream added it in 24.004.60 and uses it by default on UEFI to draw on the EFI framebuffer. On this machine that removes the prerequisite entirely, along with the firmware bloat and the per-kernel-update maintenance it implied. Also record that stage 1 is done and verified after reboot: the printk wall is gone, the rc script wall is not, which no kernel flag can fix. Add a section answering whether the boot text stays reachable behind a splash (Esc toggles it, and plymouth does its own console redirection). Replace the unreadable LQ thread with the Arch wiki as the reference, and note the repo README that plymouth is -current only. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5 <noreply@anthropic.com>
2026-08-08plymouth: add version 26.134.222Danilo M.1-0/+8
SBo ships 22.02.122, four years behind upstream and predating SimpleDRM support. Written from the meson template rather than bumped, since upstream switched from autotools to meson. systemd-integration now defaults to true in meson and has to be disabled explicitly, and release-file defaults to /etc/system-release. All build deps are satisfied by stock -current, so REQUIRES is empty. -current only: PANGO_ATTR_FONT_SCALE needs pango >= 1.50 and 15.0 ships 1.48.11, so label-pango fails to compile there. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5 <noreply@anthropic.com>
2026-08-07docs: research notes on Plymouth graphical bootDanilo M.1-0/+340
Covers how mainstream distros implement boot splash (Plymouth from initramfs, not kernel patches), the two SBo packages available, and a two-stage plan for this machine. Key finding: xe.ko is absent from the current initrd, so there is no DRM device during the initrd phase and no surface for Plymouth to draw on. That is the prerequisite for everything else. Nothing installed or changed; research only. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5 <noreply@anthropic.com>

2026-07-30python3-telethon: add version 1.44.0Danilo M.1-0/+10
Telegram client library for Python 3. Built from the codeberg tag archive rather than the PyPI sdist: the sdist omits telethon_generator/, which the hatch build hook imports to generate the tl/ layer, so a source build of it always fails. Tested on -current and 15.0. 15.0 additionally needs python3-hatchling (-current ships it in base) and the PYTHONPATH=/opt/python$PYVER line for SBo's -opt packaging/setuptools. 2026-07-10Move r8125 and UrbanTerror to sbo-slackbuilds repoDanilo M.1-12/+0

2026-07-10nvchecker: migrate 4 stanzas to use_latest_releaseDanilo M.1-4/+4
qarma, hstr, python3-packaging, click cut GitHub Releases; switch off the rate-limited use_max_tag path. gamescope, nvchecker, python3-fsspec, firefly-cli have no releases/latest (404) so stay on use_max_tag; gitea-cli is a gitea source, not github.
