Happy Pi Day to everyone… :D

Since 1988, Pi Day has been celebrated on March 14th. The date was chosen based on the Anglo-Saxon notation of this day, 3.14, which resembles the approximation of Pi to three decimal places.

The first person to celebrate this occasion was the physicist Larry Shawn, who organized a circular procession around one of the buildings of the [Exploratorium of San Francisco][1] and the sale of fruit pies decorated with the decimal digits of this magical number. Later, the physicist was awarded the title of **Prince of Pi**.

To this day, mathematics departments in numerous universities organize parties to celebrate this number.

Happy 3.14 to everyone :D
