LightCraft is an open-source, non-destructive photo library and raw
developer written in pure Rust: a clean-room reimplementation of the
Lightroom workflow. It edits through a scene-referred, wide-gamut,
32-bit float pipeline (GPU-accelerated via wgpu, with a CPU fallback),
decodes its own raw formats and keeps a local, account-free catalog.
The package also ships lightcraft-cli, the headless command-line and
MCP server.

This package repacks the upstream prebuilt x86_64 binary from the
release tarball. It needs glibc 2.35 or newer, so it targets Slackware
-current rather than 15.0.

Window-system and GPU libraries (X11/xcb, libxkbcommon, wayland, Vulkan
or EGL) are loaded at runtime and are all part of a full Slackware
install. On Wayland, XWayland is used by default; set
LIGHTCRAFT_WAYLAND=1 for native Wayland.

Upstream marks LightCraft as alpha and moving fast.
